Thank you for using Textiq. This Privacy Policy explains what information Textiq collects (or does not collect), how the app works, and your rights as a user.
2. Information We Do Not Collect
Textiq does not collect or access:
- Your name, email address, or any account information
- The text you type or paste into the app
- Location data
- Device identifiers or advertising IDs
- Contacts, photos, files, or any other device content
- Usage analytics or crash reports sent to remote servers
3. How the App Works
Textiq is a fully offline application. Every tool — word counting, case conversion, sorting, removing duplicates, and all others — runs locally on your device using only the Android system.
No internet connection is needed. No data is ever sent to any server, third-party service, or cloud storage. Text you enter is only held temporarily in memory while you use the app and is discarded when you close the tool.
4. Permissions
Textiq requests no special Android permissions. The app does not ask for access to your camera, microphone, contacts, storage, location, or any other sensitive resource.
The only system feature used is the standard Android clipboard API, which lets you paste text from your clipboard into the input field when you explicitly tap the Paste button. The app reads the clipboard only at that moment and does not monitor or log clipboard contents.
5. Advertising
Textiq contains no advertisements of any kind. No third-party advertising SDKs are included in the app. Your usage is never tracked for advertising purposes.
6. In-App Purchases
Textiq is free to use and contains no in-app purchases. All features are available without payment.
7. Third-Party Services
Textiq does not integrate any third-party analytics, crash reporting, advertising, or data-collection services. No third party receives any information from this app.
8. Children's Privacy
Textiq is suitable for users of all ages. Because the app collects no personal data whatsoever, there are no special risks to children's privacy. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children under the age of 13.
9. Data Security
Because no data leaves your device, there is no server-side storage to secure or breach. Your text remains private by design.
10. Changes to This Policy
If this Privacy Policy is updated in the future, the new version will be published at the same URL and the "Last updated" date at the top of this page will be revised. Significant changes will also be noted in the app's Play Store release notes.
